Compare one thing at a time. Keep the app and test conditions the same.
Three comparisons that help

1. Another app
Only one fails? Check its status, account, and updates.

2. Another device
Both fail on the same network? Check the router or provider.

3. Another connection
Wired works better? Investigate Wi-Fi at the box.
Test at the box
Run a speed test on the box if available. Note the time, Wi-Fi or Ethernet, and whether a VPN is connected. A phone beside the router measures a different connection.
How much speed is enough?
Use your streaming service’s requirements. As an example, Netflix recommends stable 3 Mbps for 720p, 5 Mbps for 1080p, and 15 Mbps for 4K. This does not establish Netflix compatibility or those resolutions on a VSeeBox.
Leave room for other devices. Check Ethernet port limits before expecting gigabit test results.
Wi-Fi connected, but nothing loads?
- Confirm the box has an active connection to your network; “saved” or “remembered” is not enough.
- Try another device. If both fail, check your router and provider’s outage information.
- If only the box fails, compare Ethernet or rejoin Wi-Fi with the correct password.
Restarting and other comparisons
Reseat loose cables and use the normal restart option. Do not interrupt a firmware update. Retest after each change.
A mobile hotspot can help compare networks; check your data allowance first. Better playback does not by itself prove deliberate ISP throttling.
Only happens with the VPN?
Check the provider’s guidance and the affected service. If you compare with the VPN disconnected, that test is outside the VPN. See VPN setup and checks.
Before buying anything
A faster plan does not repair weak Wi-Fi. A VPN does not fix every buffering problem. Match the purchase to the cause.
Useful details for support
Record your model, app, error, connection type, and which comparison helped. Keep passwords and device identifiers out of public posts.
